“Does work-based learning really pay off?“
24 June 2019 10-10:45 am
It a real privilage for TranZed Apprentcieships CEO Paul Champion to be part of this panel to promote the Apprenticeship Revolution!
“my challenge to every hiring manager at the conference is to ask themselves this one question every time they have an open vacancy…I wonder if a modern apprentice could do this job?. Asking this question will be the first step in transforming how American employers hire and get the skills they need to support their business goals” Said Champion.
GAN global member, the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), generously invited GAN to organize a panel discussion on June 24, during their 2019 Annual Conference. The Conference brings together 18,000 human resource professionals from around the globe.
Does work-based learning really pay off? Together with our panelists – Jillian Walsh, Zurich insurance; Marina Levin, Randstad Argentina; Linda Hogan, Rolls Royce; Paul Champion, TranZed, we’ll unpack this question and look at how companies measure the return on investment (ROI) of work-based learning approaches, such as apprenticeships. We’ll also explore whether work-based learning increases workforce diversity and enables companies to tap into hidden talent pools.
This panel is taking place within the framework of the GAN’s international initiative, SkillingNow, which aims to open-up the discussion on skilling for a future of good work by providing a platform for an interactive, global dialogue on a series of selected key themes
If you at the conference, come and see how Work Based Learning and Modern Apprenticeship can change the workforce for the better.
