Employees benefit from new centre

Employees are benefiting from a learning centre in Stroud, which officially opens its new centre tomorrow.

TABS Training, which aims to deliver qualifications to adults from all backgrounds, will hold an opening day at its new base in London Road tomorrow.

More than 20 people, including from the local council, job centres and business representatives, are expected to attend and Stroud MP Neil Carmichael is set to cut the ribbon.

Employability and learning advisor Kevin Holland said: “The new centre is much lighter, brighter and more modern.”

Chairman Mark Mitchell will speak and is expected to discuss the history of TABS Training, how it has grown, where it is going and what some of the current learners have experienced.

The event starts from 11am.
