Honours for top young learners
STUDENTS from the Boston campus of Skegness College of Vocational Training have been honoured for their academic efforts at a presentation event.
Around 60 learners gained qualifications in a variety of subjects such as mathematics, English, ICT, retail, sports leadership, business administration, construction, catering and childcare.

TOP MARKS: Student of the year Keiran Hardy and most improved student winner Duana Canty with Boston Mayor Colin Brotherton, Mayoress Kate Wainwright and Skegness College of Vocational Training managing director Duncan Moffatt.
They were presented with their certificates by Boston Mayor Colin Brotherton accompanied by Mayoress Kate Wainwright.
And there was even more cause for celebration for two of the youngsters – Keiran Hardy and Duana Canty – who were named student of the year and most improved student respectively.
Foundation learning manager Julie O’Donnell congratulated the successful students and said: “I am proud of the way our staff, support and mentor each young person, helping them reach their full potential.”
The college runs courses throughout the year with start dates every Monday.
