The opportunity has enabled 72 students to gain a level two award in developing skills in the workplace – a qualification which is equivalent to half a GCSE.
Several students have used their placements to help them decide what career path and future qualifications they want to take.
Some have also secured holiday jobs thanks to their placements.
Pupils have been able to gain work experience at a wide range of businesses, including tourism venues, as well as in local government.
Longcroft’s work experience co-ordinator Jan Nichols said: “Dozens of local, independent businesses and organisations provided placements.
“Longcroft would like to thank all of them for their vital support.”
