About VQ Day

Vocational qualifications (VQs) have never been more important to the economy and the individual; they deliver the trained, talented employees businesses are crying out for and ensure young people have the skills needed to succeed in education and work. The government is investing in vocational routes acknowledging their value, now we want everyone to come together to recognise how high quality VQs can enhance life and work chances.

VQ Day 2012 will take place on Wednesday 20 June 2012 at Bafta Picaddilly.

VQ Day 2011 was a huge success with schools, colleges, work-based providers and supporters getting involved across the country. If you were one of them and celebrated VQ Day in your area tell us about it. If you’re a VQ holder, past or present, sign up to the VQ Roll of Honour.

VQ Day is led by independent education foundation, Edge, with support from many of the leading players in the vocational education community. Edge are committed to raising the status of technical, practical and vocational learning across the UK. Sign up to keep up to date with our activities and projects.
